This module is intended to equip students with the skills and knowledge to develop an appreciation of marketing and event management within the floristry industry. It will give an overview of the issues, activities and planning involved with organising and promoting a relevant floristry event; an understanding of corporate image, marketing health and safety and other relevant legislation within floristry businesses. Furthermore, the module will allow students the opportunity to review and reflect upon their development needs regarding their career path within the industry in relation to experience, qualifications and future aspirations.Two Stars
